Epique Realty review: the good, the trade-offs, the fine print.

I'm an Epique Area Leader, so I'm not neutral. That's exactly why I'll give you the trade-offs along with the upside. You should make this decision with the full picture.

What Epique is

Epique Realty is a cloud-based brokerage founded in 2021. In its August 11, 2026 release, Epique reported more than 4,000 agents, more than $7 billion in 2025 sales volume, over 23,000 transactions, and a No. 7 spot on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list, operating across the U.S., Canada, Australia and Mexico.

What agents like

The math: an 85/15 split until you cap, and a cap that drops $1,000 each anniversary to a $10K floor. Commissions pay out within 48 hours of funds clearing.

Ownership: RevShare of 10% of company revenue on deals closed by agents you bring in, five levels deep, with no production or recruiting minimums to unlock a level. Free stock awards when you join, each anniversary, on your first home sold, when you refer an agent and when you cap.

Benefits: healthcare options for you and your family, a 401(k) built for independent contractors, AI tools, training, and perks like photography and sign installation in participating markets.

The trade-offs to weigh

Fees still exist: the $149 monthly tech fee and a 0.1% transaction fee (max $500) apply whether or not you're busy that month.

RevShare and stock vest after 36 months and 3 years, and you have to stay in good standing. If you leave early, plan on leaving that behind.

Some perks are market by market, and Epique doesn't publish a full market list. Ask what's live in your area before counting on it.

It's a cloud model. If you want a physical office and a manager down the hall, that's a real difference. Area Leaders fill part of that gap.

Industry coverage (HousingWire, April 2026) notes the most common question about benefits-heavy brokerages is long-term sustainability, and Epique has said it plans a reverse IPO. Weigh that like any business decision.

My take

For productive agents who generate their own business, the split, declining cap and benefits usually beat what they pay now. For agents who need leads handed to them or a daily office, it may not. Bring me your numbers and we'll know in 15 minutes.

Questions

Straight answers.

Is Epique Realty a good brokerage?

It depends on how you work. Agents who generate their own business often keep more with Epique's 85/15 split and declining cap, plus RevShare, stock and healthcare options. Agents who want a physical office or company-provided leads may prefer a traditional brokerage.

What are the downsides of Epique Realty?

Monthly tech and transaction fees, RevShare and stock that take 3 years to vest, perks that vary by market, and a cloud model without a traditional branch office. Some agents also ask about the long-term sustainability of benefits-heavy models.

How many agents does Epique Realty have?

Epique reported more than 4,000 agents in its August 11, 2026 announcement of its No. 7 ranking on the Inc. 5000.

Is Epique Realty a cloud brokerage?

Yes. Epique runs as a cloud-based brokerage with local Area Leaders providing in-person support and mentoring.
